The High Country of Boone North Carolina is in full swing for Christmas. Christmas Tree Farms are shipping their trees off the mountains to locations throughout the southeastern United States. Visitors swarmed to the area over Thanksgiving weekend to "choose and cut" their Christmas trees, select their wreaths and do some Christmas shopping. The Blowing Rock parade kicked off the festivities on Saturday November 24 . . .
